Marigold is a dual-track school of about 300 English and French Immersion students.  Our school is a vibrant place….a school where committed staff, students and parents work together to promote learning and achievement.  As well as achievement in literacy and numeracy, all students develop skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, communication, and teamwork.  We are 21st-century learners and understand the importance of competence in technology.   By providing opportunities for student connection, students extend skills in social responsibility at personal, school, community and global levels.

At Marigold School, students have the chance to participate in a wide range of athletic and fine arts programs.  The Cross Country Running Team,  Swim Club and Track and Field are just a few examples of athletic opportunities.  Through the Strings Program, a Marigold Choir of over 100 students, a Ukulele Program and classroom music from Kindergarten to Grade 5, children literally fine-tune their voices and instruments.  Hearing children gently sing or hum as they leave the school at the end of the day isn’t uncommon!

Community spirit is also at the heart of Marigold School.  We benefit from the involvement of an active parent group.  The Fall BBQ and Spring Fair welcome families for evenings of fun and socializing.  Monthly Family Nights provide the chance to meet the friends of your children.  Through the efforts of PAC, we have been able to extend technology, revitalize our library and support field trips.
